Have I been accepted for admission and/or
Have you received my transcripts/test scores from other schools?

While our office is asked this quite frequently, it is really the Admissions Office who processes new applications, reactivations, and receives the transcripts you have requested.  Please contact that office at 1-800-842-1922 or locally 940-397-4334.

What is my Personal Identification Number (PIN)?
The student PIN is a 6 digit number used as a password in conjunction with the student identification number generated for each MSU student by the University.  It is used for accessing the MSU WebWorld system (registration, financial aid, billing, grades, etc.)  For new or prospective students, the PIN is initially the date of birth (mmddyy), but must be changed by the student upon initial access into the MSU WebWorld system.  It should be changed to another 6 digit number (no letters, only numbers) that will be easy for the student to remember.  This number should be kept secure by the student for personal privacy protection.
If you forget your PIN, go to your academic advisor or to the Office of the Registrar (Hardin South, 101) with a picture ID for it to be released.

How do I login to WebWorld?
MSU provides student self-service opportunities via WebWorld.  With your student ID and PIN, you may access registration, bills, grades, unofficial transcripts, financial aid information, change of address, and many other services online at https://webworld.mwsu.edu.  The first page will give information about payment deadlines.  Read this thoroughly, then click on the link at the bottom of the page labeled "Click here to enter WebWorld".  To sign-in to WebWorld, click on the first bar labeled "Log In to Student Services-Registration" -- enter your MSU Student ID (or your Social Security Number if you do not know your MSU Student ID) and your PIN.  You are now logged into WebWorld.  Browse the menu options for the services you wish to explore.

How do I find out what holds I have on my record?
You can view your holds in WebWorld by clicking on "Holds" under the menu "Student Records".  This should list what type of hold, the reason, and the office responsible for placing the hold.  If more information is required about the hold, you should contact that particular office.

Who is my advisor?
Students are assigned an advisor in their major fields of study during the orientation session of their first semester at MSU.  (Undeclared students are advised in the Academic Support Center.)
Many times advisor names are entered into our Student Information System.  If so, you can view your advisor in WebWorld by clicking on "Advisor" under the menu "Student Records".  If an advisor is not listed, you will need to check with the office of your major field of study to have one assigned.
Don't know where your advisor or major office is located?
Click here to be taken to a maps page, then select "New Campus Map".  If you print this PDF document, you can see which offices are located in each building.
